It was so great to hang out with friends and family in Joshua Tree. We camped out one night under a full moon – the rock formations looked amazing at night. The Millers joined us: Garrett, Michaela and Captain Court– seen here with the yucca brevifolia aka Joshua Tree — named by Mormon migrants after the biblical Joshua – successor to Moses. Joshua trees can live for hundreds of years and have roots systems up to 35 feet long – thanks wiki for the info.
