Road Trip > Oregon Coast > Part Two

by Rainbow Bobbins

Saturday night the wind picked up – shaking the tent out of its stakes and dumping rain. In the morning we packed up the soaked camping gear and made a bee-line for warmth and blueberry pancakes at Dowie’s Café in Bay City. The sun came out again and we took a lovely and lush side trip to Oswald West State Park. This area is a thriving green wilderness leading right up to a beach dense with washed up wood and moody cliffs. Angling homeward, we made a pit stop in Seaside for a crab cake and beach kitsch overload before heading east.

Things growing on things that are growing on things
