This week in the garden

Here is the veggie garden on Easter Sunday afternoon. It was looking very Easter-y:

One  more row in the garden is tilled with new 4-way soil  but nothing has been planted aside from lettuce and carrots in the raised beds. I’m way behind this year! The peas need to go in STAT.

This black lace elderberry is starting to thrive. Yay! Sadly,  its planting companion, the pyracantha bit the dust. In its place went a golden current from the HPSO sale.

More of the HPSO haul went in the left-fir under story. I removed the hellebores from the area…they flopped big time. Hopefully they like their new digs next to the bamboo.

The hostas have come out. Happy gardening!
