This week in the garden

Once again, the veggie garden below …. not much happening. Got the pea seed in, waiting for lettuce, broccoli, sweet peas and spinach to sprout. The grapes have their first leaves and the blueberries have filled out.  But not much to look at other than the tulips.

Oh..one garden surprise…potatoes from last year’s garden

The poppies have sprouted -The seeds were collected last summer and I sprinkled thousands of them all over the yard:

The tulips are getting a little loose and starting to drop their petals. But they are still so lovely

Look at this handsome duo -the Black lace Elderberry was planted last year and i just planted the Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola on Sunday.
