I’ve been surprised how well the spiderwort ‘sweet kate’ seems to be doing under the left fir tree…from what I read online I wouldn’t have guessed it would do so well in this environment. I love the brightness and energy it gives t the deep shade of the giant fir under-story.
I added a new rose to the rose garden floribunda ‘shockwave’ from weeks roses. .I think I have one spot left in the rose garden for another rose..
The rose below is tagged “Elina” but I don’t think that is correct…early in the season the blooms are uniformly pink then become more two toned with orange and pink
Peonies are about to bloom…what is up with Peonies and ants? I am going to google it.
Veggie garden is coming along – above are carrots and potatoes with grapes and weeds in the background. Below are shelling peas.
